How to cancel a DomainUI service or request a refund
This policy applies to paid plans, subscriptions, add-ons and services supplied directly by DomainUI. It forms part of our Terms & Conditions.
It does not apply to products displayed on an Amazon or other affiliate storefront. DomainUI does not sell or fulfil those products. The retailer or marketplace seller handles cancellation, delivery, returns, warranties and refunds under its own policy.
You may cancel a renewing DomainUI plan at any time before the next renewal:
We will confirm cancellation without undue delay. Unless we tell you otherwise, cancellation prevents future renewal charges and takes effect at the end of the billing period already paid for. You can normally continue using the paid features until that date.
Please export any content or records you need before access ends. Cancelling a subscription does not automatically transfer, cancel or renew domain registrations, retailer accounts, advertising accounts or other third-party services.
If you are a UK consumer buying online, you will normally have 14 days from the day after the contract is entered into to cancel without giving a reason, unless a legal exception applies.
If you ask us to begin a service during that period and later cancel, we may deduct a proportionate amount for the service supplied up to cancellation where the law allows. For digital content supplied immediately, the cooling-off right may be lost once supply begins if you gave the express consent and acknowledgement required by law before supply started.
Business customers do not have a statutory cooling-off right unless a separate agreement provides one. Nothing in this policy limits any additional cancellation or renewal right that applies under law in force when your contract is made or renewed.
We will provide a refund or other remedy where required by law, including where:
Outside statutory rights, fees for a billing period that has started are normally non-refundable because platform capacity, account access and services are made available immediately. However, we will review a prompt request fairly, including an unexpected renewal reported soon after charge where there has been little or no use.
Stopping use of the Service, removing a domain, losing approval from an affiliate or advertising network, or failing to achieve traffic, rankings, sales or revenue does not by itself create a right to a refund.
For custom builds, setup, consultancy or other one-off work, the proposal or order may include project-specific cancellation terms. If you cancel after requesting that work begin, we may charge for work completed and non-recoverable commitments up to cancellation, subject to consumer law. Personalised work that has been fully performed may not be refundable where a lawful exception applies.
Email [email protected] from your registered address and include:
A clear statement is sufficient. You may use the optional wording below:
To DomainUI: I give notice that I cancel my contract for [plan or service], ordered on [date]. My name is [name] and my account email is [email]. Date: [date].
Approved refunds are normally returned to the original payment method. We will issue a refund without undue delay and, where consumer law specifies it, no later than 14 days after we agree or determine that you are entitled to it. Your bank or payment provider may take additional time to display the credit.
We may ask for information reasonably needed to identify the account, verify the charge and prevent fraud. This will not be used to obstruct a valid statutory cancellation.
Please contact us first if you do not recognise a charge or believe a refund is due. This gives us an opportunity to investigate quickly. Nothing in this section prevents you from using a chargeback or card-provider right available by law, but knowingly making a false claim may lead to account suspension and recovery action.
